All the Endorsements You Need in One Training Logbook
The Career Pilot Training Logbook was designed to specifically include all the logbook endorsements commonly used in pilot training from the initial student pilot days through certification as a commercial pilot and CFI.
Everything you need is included to make sure that all the required endorsements are present to be eligible to solo, be ready for each practical test, and be eligible to fly aircraft for which endorsements are required.
It starts with providing the TSA endorsement used when a CFI validates a pilot’s citizenship (as a U.S. citizen) before initial training for a private pilot, or for their instrument or multi-engine training.
Meeting the requirement for the student to have their citizenship validated for training, this endorsement can also be kept record of by the CFI as proof of their meeting the requirement to validate students prior to providing these types of training.
From there, the CFI and the student, with their logbook, have all the endorsements needed to get them ready to solo an aircraft and proceed with experience gaining on their way to the private pilot practical test endorsements. Spots are also included for soloing additional aircraft makes/models if the student makes a plane switch in their training.
Making sure a student has the proper records for their solo activities is critical to ensuring that not only the training has been required, but that as the student goes out and flies their solo requirements that they are meeting FAA requirements for endorsement.
The book also offers plenty of “additional 90-day solo endorsement slots” for continuing training when a private pilot practical test isn’t completed within the first 90-days of solo.
The logbook does this for each certificate and rating, including:
- Private Pilot
- Instrument Rating
- Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Initial CFI Certificate
- CFI-I rating
It also includes endorsement blocks for adding on multi-engine rating privileges and blank spots for other training that might be completed.
Other training endorsements included in the book include:
- Tailwheel
- High-Performance
- Complex
- High-Altitude
This book was designed to include all the endorsements needed in most primary career-focused pilot training pathways. Make your logbook as an applicant easy for the DPE or the airline recruiter to decipher by making it easy to document.
Other endorsements in the book include:
- Adding on a category/class of aircraft (such as adding a multigine certification
- Retesting after a practical test failure (hopefully you don’t need this, but it’s there in case!)
- Flight Review
- Instrument Proficiency Check
- and some blank spots for anything else you might need out of the typical training path!
If you are a CFI, make your job easier by using this logbook for your students to make sure your candidates have all the required endorsements in their training.
